Purpose

At Mrityunjay Yogpeeth, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, respect, and ethical conduct. This Anti-Retaliation Policy is designed to protect individuals who report violations of our Code of Conduct or who participate in good faith in any investigation related to such violations. Retaliation of any kind is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

Scope

This policy applies to all students, teachers, staff, volunteers, and affiliates of Mrityunjay Yogpeeth participating in any of its Yoga Teacher Training Courses, workshops, or related programs.

Policy Statement

1. Right to Report

All individuals have the right to report:

• Violations or suspected violations of the Code of Conduct
• Unethical behavior
• Harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any kind Without fear of retaliation.

2. Protection from Retaliation

Mrityunjay Yogpeeth strictly prohibits any form of retaliation—including intimidation, threats, harassment, discrimination, or adverse action—against any individual who:

• Files a complaint or reports a violation in good faith
• Participates in an investigation, hearing, or inquiry
• Assists or supports another person in making a report

3. Types of Retaliation Include but Are Not Limited To

• Verbal or physical harassment
• Threats or intimidation
• Academic or professional disadvantage
• Exclusion from class activities or community events
• Any other behaviour intended to punish or dissuade reporting

4. Confidentiality

All complaints and investigations will be handled as confidentially as possible, consistent with the need to conduct an adequate review and take appropriate corrective action.

5. Reporting Retaliation

Any person who believes they have been subjected to retaliation should report the incident immediately to the Course Director, School Administration, or any designated grievance officer.

6. Consequences of Retaliation

Individuals found to have engaged in retaliation will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include:

• Verbal or written warning
• Suspension or dismissal from the course
• Termination of any professional relationship with Mrityunjay Yogpeeth

7. Good Faith Clause

This policy protects individuals who report concerns in good faith. Knowingly making false accusations or maliciously misusing this policy will be subject to disciplinary action.
